Costs of the 3 million would cover:

- Procurement of artificial lens, surgical equipment, consumables, medicines as well as other materials, and costs for transportation and customs duties.

- Staffing cost (including medical staff and staff sent to designated country for coordination before the mission)

- Publicity cost

- Miscellaneous cost (such as passport and Visa issuance, physical examination, insurance etc..

Set up Lifeline Express eye center for selected B&R countries of the International Sight Saving Missions Programme

- Set up one Lifeline Express eye center for each B&R country;

- Each eye center would cost 1 million mainly for procurement of equipment and transportation

Train doctors for Lifeline Express eye center in selected B&R countries of the International Sight Saving Missions Programme

- Arrange 2 eye doctors from each selected country to China for international exchanges;

- Train B&R country doctors for 1 month in the eye hospitals which had sent doctors to B&R countries;

- Costs include transportation, living allowance in China and training of B&R country doctors.
